A year and a half ago, ��ҹ���� music professor Laura Klugherz received a letter from a film company interested in using a piece of her music for an upcoming documentary about World War II. Klugherz didn’t think much about the request. In fact, she tucked the letter away in her files.

As observers and passers-by witness Willoughby Sharp’s Ice and Air outdoor installations on campus, they will experience the artworks differently as the pieces change with the passing of time.

“It’s one thing to read [a book] and then it’s another thing to get a personal account of what it’s like writing it and what the actual experiences were like,” said Annie Norcia ’08, a creative writing student who attended both a luncheon and a reading given by author Gregory Bottoms on Thursday.
