For the second time in his young life, Paul Ridley ’05 is about to embark on an adventure that man has never before achieved. Ridley — who rowed solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 2009 — will be attempting the first nonstop, unsupported row across the Arctic Ocean with three other men.

As the Olympic flame continues its journey to London for the 2012 Summer Olympics, it will be passed to Tanya Lubicz-Nawrocka ’08, who was named to the torch relay team in England because of her efforts to inspire young people to become better global citizens.

The first award was first place for photography for the ��ҹ���� viewbook. Each year the viewbook is filled with imagery that tells the story of ��ҹ����. The submission included these photos:

The university’s Trudy Fitness Center recently was recognized for its green technology and energy efficiency, receiving a gold LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

��ҹ����’s Elise DeRoo ’12 was one of two Patriot League student-athletes to be nominated for the 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. DeRoo’s nomination was based on her service, leadership, athletics and academics.
